Killua and Kurapika are two strong characters in Hunter X Hunter Universe. Being two main characters they both are beloved and interesting characters. But how would a fight between them go? Let’s analyse Killua vs Kurapika pre succession arc versions.
There was a time that Kurapika actually was glad that Killua was on their side when he displayed his assassin’s technique in the trick tower during the hunter exam. In the hunter exam arc killua was way stronger than kurapika in speed, technique and skills. That was the result of high intensity training to become an high level assassin.
Even if Kurapika were to go angry and activate the Scarlet Eyes which he used to defeat the fake phantom troupe member in Trick Tower, he would still lose to Killua. Killua in one swift move killed Zaban’s worst Murderer by taking out his heart . In terms of intelligence i would put Kurapika above Killua as he is very perceptive and highly intelligent person , also he is older than Killua.
Now let’s get to the Nen part! They both learned Nen during the same time Killua learned Nen with Gon from Wing. Originally Kurapika is a Conjurer while Killua is an Transmuter. Nen is very complex and Kurapika went from 0 to 100 real quick! His whole demeanor and aura changed.
Thanks to his Scarlet Eyes his whole Aura changed and when they turn red Kurapika becomes a Specialist. Kurapika wants to hunt down the Phantom Troupe and thats what he did in York New City Arc. Kurapika fought Uvogin the Strongest in Strength of Phantom Troupe and he was able to trap him with his Chain Jail. He also dealt significant damage and displayed amazing Nen Skills using his Emperor Time . Kurapika has incredible mental strength endurance immense speed and reflexes , genius level battle Iq.
Killua is a transmuter and he can change his aura properties. Killua’s Nen ability is superb he is able to change his aura to electricity . Killua’s hatsu is not something to be taken lightly. He trained in the greed island arc with bisky and he gained alot of strength and battle experience in the Chimera Ant battles. He fought rammot and killed him , fought multiple chimera ants . Stunned a high level aura Royal Guard Youpi.
But killua is still far behind Kurapika in strength and mental toughness. Killua is not able to Defeat his brother Illumi while Kurapika has a decent chance of winning. Now it’s impossible to play out a scenario of a Nen Battle between Kurapika and Killua but Kurapika was able to kill a Phantom Troupe Member. Killua wouldn’t be able to hit Kurapika that easily and Kurapika definitely would deal serious damage to Killua if caught. It would really be a great battle of two high level IQ Characters but based on Speed -Intelligence – Mastery of Nen Ability – Devising Kurapika takes the win
